  • Inorganic single crystal scintillators for rare event searches, X-rays, ?-rays, and neutrons detection for Homeland security, medical imaging, space exploration, environmental monitoring, and dark matter searches.
  • Luminescent and scintillating phosphors and glasses for photonic applications.
  • Single Crystal growth by Bridgman, Czochralski and Micro pulling down techniques.
  • Fabrication of glasses by melt quenching technique.
  • Nano and quantum dot glasses and phosphors.
  • Solid state nuclear track detectors for environmental radiation monitoring.
  • Physics of luminescence and scintillation processes in inorganic solids.
  • Nanomaterials for radiation detections and photonics applications.
  • Phosphors for Thermoluminescence dosimetry for medical application.
